For many of us, as we leave our marriage, we don’t even fully remember who we were before we entered that relationship. It is easy to lose yourself over time, especially if the relationship is not healthy. Some of us shrink to be smaller and quieter doubting our every move, others find themselves angry all the time, most of us forgetting the things that brought us joy before we joined with that other person.
The post divorce period can be a beautiful time of reconnecting with who you are at your core, what things light you up and rebuilding your confidence.
It is a time for healthy reflection, trying to understand where you contributed to the downfall of the relationship because it takes two to tango.
